Homeworking? Homelunching!
We are not all under house arrest, but the Covid-19 crisis instantly thrust the workstations of many of us between the kitchen island and one end of the dining room table. Oh, that's just what we wanted to talk to you about: eating.
A moment of pleasure not to be missed

Around 38% of Belgians telework at least once a week (this figure was barely 17% in 2017. It obviously exploded when Covid came along). And according to a survey by the Opinionway Institute in December, one out of two teleworking employees is in psychological distress (in France, but one can imagine that it is more or less similar in Belgium). Well then, pals!? Seems like we urgently need a boost here! And you know what?
What you eat has an immediate impact on your well-being. So repeat after us: “We don't skip lunch”. EVER
What you eat for lunch is important, as well as how you eat it.
Swallowing a bite of food alone in front of your computer, without paying attention to what you are doing, is not good. So, first tip: get up and go eat somewhere other than your workstation. Take the opportunity to do some stretching while listening to a "Zen" playlist and to breathe deeply four or five times, as this also has an immediate impact on your well-being. When eating, don't forget to also breathe well, as this helps with digestion.

What to eat?

Avoid eating too much or your eyelids will droop during the 2 pm Teams meeting. Then, as we've told you often enough, vegetables are important for your small microbiota and if it is happy, YOU will be happy. And do you know why your microbiota loves plants? Because the billions of bacteria that make it up feed exclusively on the fibres that your digestive acid cannot break down. And these are mainly found in plants and some whole grains. This is what also makes you “go” well.
Obviously, we encourage you to vary the pleasures according to your current mood, because life should be fun. Here are some healthy and tasty ideas:

- Add the mushroom mixture (button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, etc.) to the pan and cook for two minutes while stirring.
