|Recipes

Whether it's for a Sunday morning with family, a well-deserved afternoon snack or a gourmet dessert, pancakes are always a good idea 😀 This year, we took on the challenge of making pancakes without milk or eggs that taste just as good as their classic counterpart. We have to say, they were a great success!

Our recipe is ideal for people with allergies to certain dairy products and for vegans, as well as for those who want to make pancakes that are both lighter and cheaper.

Difficulty: Easy

Cost: €

Preparation time: 10 min

Cooking time: 10 min

Makes 10 pancakes

250g flour
80g cornflour
240ml water
500ml plant-based milk
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp sugar
A pinch of salt
Method
  • First, dilute the cornflour in the water and mix well.
  • Then pour it into a large bowl and add the flour, vegetable oil, sugar and a pinch of salt.
  • Gradually add the plant-based milk while mixing together with an electric whisk. You can strain the mixture through a fine sieve if there are any lumps.
  • Finally, pour a ladle of batter into an oiled pan and cook for one minute on each side.

The end result is really similar to a classic pancake. They are soft, delicious and can be enjoyed with all kinds of fillings. Chocolate, jam, brown sugar, Mikados, ice cream, bananas... let your culinary creativity run wild!
